REGRA GERAL

Acrescenta-se o S ao singular da palavra.

river – rivers
eraser – erasers

Substantivos que terminam em S, SS, SH, X, CH, O e Z acrescentamos ES:
bus – buses
class – classes
Brush – brushes
box – boxes
Church – churches
topaz – topazes

potato – potatoes

Nas palavras que terminam em Z, dobramos o Z e adicionamos ES:

Palavras terminadas em CH com o som de K, o plural é formado apenas com o acréscimo de S.
